Wayne Mesquita Jr appeals for peace
Although space has been colonized over 150 years later, still there is still much left to mankind get rid of their mundane vices. Looting, robbery, dispute over power, all those things ruin chances of the Consortium being ever established as an entity taking mankind to a new era and where peace is key and development, infinite.
Taking advantage of failures in the security structure of the Patrol (strong but limited), pirates, renegades, and revolutionaries periodically fustigate the structures of the Consortium, in search of wealth, stations and power. To perpetuate the peace in the Core, the Consortium counts on a precious help from the best pilots and valuable citizens to extirpate once for all evil from systems.
Evil has no boundaries. And it never rests. When we believe just having reached peace, our enemies come back. They always do. They come captained by powerful leaders piloting ships loaded up with guns and valuable artifacts. The Consortium has no other interest on their enemies than that of termination. Every enemy's loot should go to those who shoot them down.
