Rules to protect the game and its players

It comprises specific norms for the game, additional regulations on behavior affecting or disrupting another player's game experience, balance or service instability.

Exploit (game mechanics abuse)

Consists of taking advantage of failure in the mechanics or unexpected behavior of in-game devices. Exploits can be directly reported to the support team by email (suporte@hoplon.com) or ticket .

Definition of Bug Exploitation:

  • Making use of programming or game mechanics mistakes for personal benefit or for a group of players advantage;
  • Making use of programming or game mechanics mistakes to kill or disrupts another player gameplay experience;
  • Making use of programming or game mechanics mistakes locking part of the game content;
  • Making use of programming or game mechanics mistakes, locking services provided by Hoplon Infotainment;
  • Inducing unexpected behavior to the game client or server resulting in any of the items above;
  • Inducing unexpected behavior to the game client or server resulting in instability of any service provided by Hoplon Infotainment.

Infractions of this nature are classified as "Capital".

Scamming

Scamming consists of obtaining any kind of benefits from the game through lack of information/ fraud or abusing inexperienced players.

Scamming will not be considered an infraction to the game norms once it is not conformed to another violation category (impersonating a GM and requiring a player an item for instance, characterizes a capital personification infraction and it will be punished accordingly). It's important to notice that scamming or trust fraud is allowed only in the fictional universe. Fooling other player to purposely still his or her account, money, or any other elements outside the game universe is considered not only a violation of the rules of conduct, but also crime subject to sanction or legal process.

Metagaming

Violating game integrity, trade or interaction among game elements and agents, tools or external resources.

Trading or dealing real cash for content and advantages in the fictional universe such as:

  • Ships or items;
  • Characters;
  • Game currency;
  • Advantages, items or stations;
  • Game accounts.

Infractions of this nature are classified as "Terminal".

Use of external tools directly affecting playability as follows:

  • Macros;
  • Add-ons not recognized as valid by Hoplon S/A;
  • Loggers.

Infractions of this nature are classified as "Severe".

Modification of total or partial violation of game client, installer, server or associate services, including:

  • Data-mining;
  • Reverse engineering;
  • Package alteration, extraction or substitution;
  • Hacks;
  • Sniffers.

Infractions of this nature are classified as "Terminal".

Note: Some of the items above still conform to infractions in the terms of use and they are subject to sanction or criminal process.

Reimbursement policy

Terms and guidelines that validate and enable the refund on items, resources, and other goods purchased in the game.

In order to initiate the refund process, it is imperative that players submit a support request, report the problem, and then present all documents requested by the GMs.

Refunds will only be performed if proved that losses are result from failures or limitations by Hoplon Infotainment.

The company will not be held liable for any loss caused by internet connection instability, user limitations or risky or reckless conduct. The company will not replace any goods that users no longer possess, not even if they are victims of player abuse or fraud (see "scamming").
